Pine Ridge Produce is run by Colin and Katherine Thurston. Colin is from northern Alberta and he and Katherine met in Vancouver in 2012. Together they decided to move out of Vancouver where they could buy some land and start a farm. Shortly after buying their seven acres in the Salmon River Valley in Salmon Arm, BC, they had twin girls. When the twins were twenty months old another baby boy came along! They are now a busy but very happy family of five people, one black lab, two cats and many many chickens. Katherine and Colin have a passion for gardening and growing food in a way that is best for the earth and for the environment. Combine a love for growing with a desire to be together as a family as much as possible, and Pine Ridge Produce was created.
